The international contest for all kind of miniatures is happening in Las Vegas!
What to Expect
Three days of miniature painting competition inside the museum, this February. Painters at Standard and Master level compete under an open system: medals are awarded on merit, so your piece is judged against the standard, not against other entries.
On top of the medals there’s an $8,000 prize pool, including cash for: Best Of Show, Best Painted, Best Sculpted, Best Diorama/Storytelling, Best Original Creation and collaboration awards with Monte San Savino Show and Kontrast as Best Historical, Best Fantasy, Best Groundwork and Best “Contrast”. On top of that our judges and other famous artists will run workshops throughout the event. Come to compete, learn, or just look at some of the best painting around as the museum will be open and available during those days!
❋ Museum StructureThe VVO is going to happen inside the museum area, you will be able to experience both the contest and the full collection at the same time.
❋ International JudgesThe judges panel is composed of peak international artists with great experience in all the major shows around the world.
❋ Lectures and TalksLed by experienced artists you will find short format lectures in our teather room.
❋ Hobby SpaceDuring the event you can find an hobby area to relax, paint, participate in the demos that are going to happen.

The contest will run fro the 5th to the 7th of February and recurringly in the first weekend of February every year. You can deliver the miniatures for the contest from 10am to 6pm on Friday and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday.

Yes, you can register directly at the show. If you register online you will get a discount. Registrations will close the 31st of January.

Probably not. The workshops have limited amount of seats and registering online is recommended.
